Welcome to Brisbane Mind & Body Clinic, your source to recapture feeling good again. As a new psychology and nutrition clinic, we adopt a holistic approach to health by educating clients on how food choices can influence our brain, mood, and mental health. I have experience working with adolescents and adults in private and public settings, e.g. university, community and hospital mental health settings. I've also worked with clients experiencing a range of difficulties including, anxiety disorders and depression, trauma- and stress-related conditions, as well as identity and self-esteem issues.
I have an interest in supporting individuals from minority and marginalised groups (e.g., immigrants and LGBTI communities). I primarily use Cognitive Behavioural Therapy with a strengths-based approach but also draw from Compassion-Focused Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and trauma-informed interventions.
My passion is to help my clients deal with not only their presenting problems, but also the underlying root causes of their issues. With a warm and compassionate approach, I hope to create a safe space for clients to explore their self identity and break free from limiting beliefs to create long-term, sustainable change.
