I am a counsellor and psychotherapist working with individual adults who would like to gain a deeper understanding of themselves, others, and the world. I have a particular interest in trauma, whether from attachment issues, abusive or hurtful relationships, accidents and injury, illness, or natural disasters. I am interested in the transitions made throughout the lifespan, both expected and unexpected, gradual and sudden. I also have clinical experience with anxiety, depression, grief and loss, recovery from family violence, and support for parents of special needs children.
Working from a psychodynamic framework, I provide a safe and respectful environment in which your experience is seen and heard. As we work together to explore your experiences and how you respond to them, self-understanding deepens, which opens the way for greater choice and agency, more fulfilling relationships, and a more meaningful engagement with life.
I currently offer counselling sessions in person (face-to-face) in Spotswood and Caulfield North, or by phone or a secure online video platform, depending on your preference.
