Have you experienced trauma? Do you have distressing memories? EMDR is a powerful therapy that can change how you feel about the past and provide the opportunity to heal. EMDR can provide you with the opportunity to heal, and in only a handful of sessions compared to what can be years with alternative therapies, many of which do not provide relief. Another advantage of EMDR, is that you don’t have to divulge every detail of your memories, which can be both painful and deeply distressing. EMDR therapy can provide you with a sense of control, more rewarding relationships, hope for the future, and a more peaceful life.
EMDR is an effective treatment for trauma both in person and online. It is also an effective treatment for depression, anxiety, nightmares, grief, divorce, bullying, chronic pain and more. I work with first responders, pre-teens, adolescents, and adults across the lifespan. I am registered with Worksafe, TAC, Medicare, NDIS, private health funds and VOCAT.
I have more than 20 years experience working in domestic violence, Headspace, school psychologist, helping people return to work, and acute mental health all within a safe, non-judgmental and trusting therapeutic environment. I understand how important the right fit is in seeking help, and you will get a good idea about this during our initial phone call.
