I'm a non-binary trans counsellor with a strong interest in relational & social trauma. I’m a certified Somatic Experiencing Practitioner with SE International. I take a generative somatic approach that acknowledges how marginalised bodies are impacted by oppressive systems. I’m also a master’s qualified Social Worker with over 20 years' experience working in Community Services (Disability, HIV/AIDS, Youth, AOD, Prison Abolition & LGBTIQA+). I share a cherished alliance with my clients, which holds both gentle vulnerabilities & fierce stirrings. I work with all genders, sexualities, cultures, divergences, abilities.
In our active collaboration, we will meet internal parts still orienting to past experiences & distress with curiosity. We will explore your needs & boundaries while building more capacity for expansion & discomfort - so you can experience a shift in the felt sense of your body and emotions, which invites patterns to re-organise and play out differently.
In our work together, it’s inevitable that the old ways & the new will intersect. I see this as change itself, for it’s in this transitory space that shifts occur & it calls for us to get creative about the healing process. It's an honour witnessing the process of you finding a sense of home in yourself. If this resonates, I’d love to hear from you!
