Specialising in women's mental health with many years' experience in the human service industry, Jacqui works within a women-centred framework to empower women. Her passion is to help women access their unique strengths in order to overcome current challenges, from relationships and recovery to reinvention. She has worked in mental health, family law & separation, pregnancy loss & infertility, aged care, EAP counselling for workplace bullying and injury issues, chronic health challenges and family violence.
Jacqui provides a confidential and safe counselling space tailored for women. She undertakes rigorous professional development each year to ensure her work is always contemporary, evidence-based and of the highest relevance to her clients. Jacqui's fees are eligible for a Medicare rebate for those choosing to obtain a Mental Health Care Plan from their GP.
Jacqui's work often begins with encouraging her clients to give themselves priority. Women tend to feel guilty, apologise excessively, allocate themselves too much unnecessary responsibility (and blame) and put others before themselves. Her passion is see them re-emerge and flourish, once their work of prioritised self-care is done.
