I believe that you are a worthy person, deserving of respect and care, and I will work alongside you in a trauma informed, solution focused manner, tailoring therapy to your individual needs. I have over 19 years experience helping people resolve complex trauma, anxiety, depression, personality disorders and other psychological difficulties. I specialize in Eye Movement, Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, Systemic Family Therapy, and expressive therapy. I also utilize CBT, DBT, ACT and other therapies to help improve behaviours, relationships, and coping with difficult circumstances, including grief and loss.
My expertise is in supporting people with complex mental illness, including PTSD. I work with the individual and their social system in mind, with individuals internal family systems, and with couples and families. I am AASW trained and experienced in providing clinical supervision.
I have availability for new clients. I work in Gympie and Brisbane on alternating weeks. At: 3 Queen St Medical, Gympie: Tuesday and Wednesday; 8:15am - 5:00pm. Bremer Specialist Centre, Booval: Monday - Friday, 8:15am - 5:00pm. Holland Park: Monday - Tuesday, 6:00pm - 8:00pm.
