Hi, my name is JacIyn. I am a PACFA Accredited Clinical Counsellor & Supervisor, EMDRAA accredited EMDR Practitioner, Advancand Clinical Resource Therapist & Trainer, & NSW Victims Services Counsellor. I understand that starting therapy can feel daunting. I’m warm and friendly. I am passionate about supporting clients to safely navigate and reprocess their experiences of trauma, manage anxiety, depression, and various life challenges. I work from a trauma informed, person centred approach, drawing from modalities such as: Resource Therapy (Parts Work) Polyvagal Theory, DBT, EMDR, & Somatic approaches.
I started my career in the human services sector in 2007. I have worked in the Government and Non-Government sectors holding counselling, case management and team leader positions in areas of Mental Health,Community Development, Out of Home Care, Domestic & Family Violence and DisAbility. I was in the top 5 finalists for a NSW Premiers Award in 2015 and 2018
