I have a diverse background in counselling with a strong focus on assisting families in their journey towards improved mental and emotional well-being. With years of experience in the field, I have had the privilege of working with a wide range of families facing various challenges and I worked with children and adolescents out of home care as a therapeutic worker for a not for profit organisation (DCJ). My approach to counselling is rooted in empathy, active listening, and a deep commitment to fostering healthier relationships within the family unit.

I work with older adolescents (16+), adults and couples on their mental health, emotional and relationship issues. My particular interest is helping people improve their self-esteem, motivation, work stress and relationship issues. I support my clients to overcome life challenges and frame those challenges in terms of schema or negative self-belief barriers which can be overcome. I also enjoy working with couples on changing their relationship patterns and resolving their differences. I am skilled with culturally sensitive issues, coming from a multicultural perspective myself and being experienced working with migrants.

In consultation with a GP, treatment can be provided under Better Access to Mental Health Programme, Psychological Access Plus, Workcover.
