I am a mental health social worker who works collaboratively with her clients to help them move towards a healthy and fulfilling life. People that come to see me are often struggling with anxiety, depression, stress and low self-esteem. In addition, I have a Master of Social Science (Criminal Justice Administration) qualification and have extensive experience working with clientele and professionals who have contact or work within the criminal justice system in providing risk and needs assessment as well as offence specific intervention for men or women convicted of violent offences.
Therapy sessions are holistic in nature and based on the idea that by working collaboratively together we are able to build on existing capabilities and strengths which will assist you to be able to identify healthy ways in which you can meet your goal.
I believe that my clients are the experts of their own life experiences and and situations and therefore have many skills, abilities, values, commitments, beliefs and competencies, which will assist them in changing their relationship with the problems that are currently impacting their lives.
