I provide emotional and practical support to adolescents, adults, couples and families who are facing issues such as anxiety, depression, adjustment issues, stress, PTSD, trauma, grief and loss, family issues, and parenting strategies. I work with my clients to establish treatment goals in order to resolve presenting psychological problems, associated social and environmental problems and improve quality of life. All sessions are tailored to the needs of each client, and I am bound by a code of ethics, which includes maintaining confidentiality.
I have a special interest and experience in providing support to victims of domestic and family violence. I work from a trauma-informed, feminist, client-centred, strengths-based approach whilst utilising a range of evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Mindfulness.
I am a compassionate practitioner, ready to listen to your concerns. I will work with you to establish goals and together we will work through the issues that are affecting your well-being. So, if you are experiencing difficulties that are impacting your life and want meaningful change, then contact me.
