I work with clients who are experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, grief, relationship issues, and parenting concerns. I have a strong interest in strengthening the caregiver-child relationship, social and emotional development in children, reshaping the lens we view masculinity, and building protective behaviours to prevent harm.
I believe each person has the capacity for growth, healing, and meaningful change when provided with safe, supportive, and non-judgemental environments. Through collaboration, I work alongside you towards your unique goals.
I provide a compassionate and supportive space where you can speak openly and work through difficulties at your own pace. My approach is person-centred and eclectic, drawing from evidence-based approaches with a focus on understanding your experiences and developing strategies you can use in everyday life to improve stability, functioning, and well-being.
Choosing a counsellor can be difficult, as the therapeutic relationship is crucial to working through personal challenges. Taking the first step can be daunting, which is why I offer a 15-minute complimentary meeting so you can get to know me before deciding on your next steps. I appreciate that it is essential to feel comfortable before making a decision.
