People that come to me for support and with whom I have built a rich therapeutic relationship tend to be self-reflective and imaginative, and with a wish to connect with the world and others whilst finding themselves stuck on their way to reach this, at times since events long ago.

Therapeutically you will find me to be a companion that offers support to hold awareness, when noticing is hard and overwhelm is present. I do this through careful attention to our therapeutic relationship and by making use of what I know of how trauma operates. My approach is one based on exploration and understanding rather than single-focused on change.

This work has changed me deeply, making me appreciate with humility the resilience and also the many colours of experience that we inhabit as part of our human condition. As such, you can expect from me to hold deep respect towards your experience and curiosity towards what you live.

As part of becoming accredited as a Gestalt psychotherapist I am currently offering a limited number of low-fee psychotherapy sessions ($60 for ppl employed, $30 for those currently unemployed). Outside of this ,an income-dependent sliding scale applies, to adapt to as many circumstances as possible

Most of my work has been with victim-survivors of sexual abuse and with those that endured harm in institutional settings; I also have worked with people that caused this type of harm and are engaged in the criminal justice system.
