We take referrals through Medicare and NDIS plus direct from the public. As social workers we are very skilled in working with people and families to help address their needs and work through their challenges and worries. It may be working on your relationships with family or partner or it could be things from your past that you feel keep holding you back. We ask you about what your hopes and goals are for therapy and give you the support to move towards them.
Sometimes people just feel "stuck" and need the opportunity to talk to someone. We are experienced in working with children, teenagers and adults. We work with people who have a range of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma, Domestic violence, Sexual assault, Grief and Loss, Out of home care and Complex trauma.
The most common thing that we hear from people is that "we should have come sooner" after their first session. Life can be really challenging at times and we often hold onto the same things that we have done in the past but at some point in our lives most of us require some help along the way to get through life’s difficulties.
