Jacqueline Schell welcomes the assessment and treatment of complex clinical presentations of children and adolescents. She has a special interest in ADHD and Learning Difficulties, Attention and Working Memory Training. She seeks to help parents understand their child's presenting difficulties and to guide treatment targets toward a favourable outcome.
Jackie is passionate about helping parents to clarify how they can help their child. Parent Coaching is a necessary part of most complex emotional and behavioural presentations in children and adolescent. Parent Coaching as well as individual sessions for the child typically provide best outcomes.
An initial 60 minute parent only consultation is held for an in-depth discussion of the presenting problems. This is an important process for both therapy and assessment individuals, including requests for formal testing like IQ for Giftedness, Educational, ADHD.
