I have a passion for working with clients to resolve trauma. Making sense of traumatic experiences, their effect on our mental health and relationships, and processing these safely, allows for us to be our most authentic and integrated self. I also work with individuals, parents and carers supporting their children or loved ones with acute mental health and traumatic experiences.
I offer EMDR therapy (including via telehealth), supported by emotion-focussed, attachment, person-centred, strengths based and ego state therapeutic interventions. I also offer individual talk therapy and parent and carer coaching using an emotionally focussed family therapy lens to increase opportunities for connection.
With experience supporting child and adult trauma survivors, client's managing mental health distress, as well as parents, children and families surviving violence, I take time to fully understand each person's support needs, goals, pace and preferences for working together. Above all, I create safety in therapeutic relationships to support healing.
