As a highly experienced clinician with 24 years' practice in both public and private work, I understand that people can suffer from anxiety, low motivation and mood changes when life's problems become overwhelming. Life is challenging at times, and tough times can leave us feeling overwhelmed and distressed. It's easier to overcome challenging times with the right support, and therapy can be a good option to help you "get back on track.'. My therapeutic approach is short term, recovery based, and future focused. I will always work with you in partnership, as you set your own personal goals for recovery.
Accredited Mental Health Social Workers, (AMHSW) are specialists in helping to resolve psychological distress in the context of your individual situation. Emotional struggles and distress can be incredibly challenging to navigate, but it's important to remember that you're not alone. I can help and support you to regain a sense of clarity and direction.
If you feel you could benefit from seeing an experienced mental health therapist, you can talk to your GP about a Mental Health Treatment Plan - Medicare Rebates are available with a MHTP & referral to this practice.
