Hi there! I'm Helen, I'm a Registered Psychologist who works with adults and young people aged 16 years and older. I support people who experience a variety of mental health concerns including anxiety, grief, depression, self-harming, low self-esteem, social skill development, family conflict, relationship difficulties and trauma. I use elements of Cognitive Behavioural therapy, Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing therapy (EMDR), and solution-focused therapy in my treatment approach.
My counselling style is collaborative, warm, empathic and down-to-earth. I take an integrative approach that recognises my client's strengths and brings forth their most authentic self. My special interest lies with anxiety disorders and adolescent mental health issues.
