Hi, I'm Heather. If you choose to begin therapy with me, my aim will be to meet you where you are, to work through where you want to be in your life and explore the things that are getting in your way. My areas of interest include, but are not limited to: grief; loss; relationship stress; anxiety; depression; trauma; couples work ; perfectionism; processing major life decisions; helping clients take their life from 'OK' to flourishing.
After 20 years’ experience as a Counsellor, Social Worker and Psychotherapist, I am passionate about working with clients to live their lives with hope, meaning and purpose. My breadth of experience in private practice, mental health and education settings, enables me to respond skilfully to a diversity of human experience.
My therapy room is a safe, relaxing and welcoming space for you to talk about the most personal and important aspects of your life. Compassion, empathy, and ability to connect are central to every aspect of my work and, drawing from a breadth of therapeutic approaches, I will tailor your therapy to meet your personality, unique needs, and life experience.
