Healing Hearts Counselling is a private counselling service that supports families, teens and children that have experienced trauma or are trying to navigate difficult life challenges. Melanie has over 22 years experience of working with and supporting families. Melanie can support families, children and adults around challenges related to life cycle transitions, relationship challenges, identity formation, trauma, anxiety, school refusal and emotional regulation. As well as offering parenting support through various parenting programs, psycho education and filal play therapy.
Melanie is a registered Counsellor, Family Therapist and Synergetic Play Therapist . Melanie has extensive experience and knowledge in working from a systemic, attachment and neuroscience framework. Working from a client centred approach which is flexible and creative to help clients achieve their goals.
Melanie loves working with families, supporting them on their journey and believes that building strong relationships with clients is an important part of that journey.
