I grew up in and graduated in South Africa. After graduating I spent a number of years working in the UK and South Africa, before moving to Australia. I have a private practice on Sydney's north shore and northern beaches, specialising in adolescents and adults, experiencing anxiety, depression, self-esteem, peer relationship issues, gender identity challenges, confusing life choices, career needs, bullying and school concerns. I am an advanced Accredited Mental Health Social Worker, a member of the Australian Association of Social Workers and a supervisor for other allied health professionals.
I enjoy running various groups involving self-esteem building, career guidance, stress management, personal growth and awareness. Therapeutic engagement includes Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Nature-Focused and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Compassion-Focused Therapy and working with the client to understand each individual's needs and resonance.
