I have a Social Work background with experience in consultation services, child protection, family intervention, clinical mental health services, systems work, senior leadership and management. I am originally from Turrbal and Jagera country but have called Naarm home since mid-2022. My mob are Mununjali, and I am a proud Aboriginal person. I identify as queer and as a proud ADHDer. I appreciate the opportunity to work alongside the LGBTQIA+ and neurodiverse communities and am committed to providing queer-affirming and neurodiversity-affirming practices that are trauma-informed and safe.
I specialise in providing EMDR (standard, child and youth, recent traumatic events and group traumatic events), DBT, Narrative Therapy, Solution Focused and Brief Intervention psychotherapies however, I draw on many more. I'm able to provide parenting courses including Circle Of Security and Parenting Under Pressure.
Grow Gently Counselling was founded from the desire to provide a high quality counselling service, that was relatable, affirming, trauma informed, accessible and culturally safe. If you're looking for a truely personal and supportive journey, please get in touch today for an obligation free chat on how we can support you.
