Hi, I'm Gretta. I have over 20+ years of experience providing counselling to adults. I have a particular interest in supporting adults who have experienced relational trauma. Do you experience, for example, confusion; trust issues; excessive thinking, stress or worry; communication issues; tiredness; sleep issues; feeling withdrawn and/or on alert? Would you prefer to slow down, explore your feelings, thoughts and experiences, and develop skills to more effectively manage them? Working with a professionally trained counsellor allows you to work towards the changes you are seeking within a safe, supportive therapeutic relationship.
I tailor therapy to your unique needs, often integrating talk therapy, embodied awareness, mindfulness and self-compassion. I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches including: Polyvagal Theory, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Gestalt, Somatic approaches and Trauma work. Your needs will guide the therapeutic approach.
