Hi there :) Thank you for stopping by. My name is Carolyn and I am a Counsellor and Clinical Supervisor based in the beautiful Adelaide Hills. I provide sensitive, caring and confidential counselling for children, young people and their families. I work together with your child or young person with your family. As the adults you become co-therapists and co-facilitators of healing for your child. I seek to understand your story and to journey with you. My goal is to provide a safe environment to explore and make meaning what you and your family are experiencing and together find hope and healing.
My specialty area is working with complex relational trauma, loss, grief and mental health. I am also a Bringing Up Great Kids and Tuning Into Kids parenting group, as well as a Rhythm2Recovery rhythm and movement group facilitator. These programs are for parents, caregivers, families, children and young people, and can be run as groups or for individuals.
With a focus on restoring safety and supporting you as a family to heal from experiences of grief, loss and trauma, I provide a safe environment for you to talk about what you and your family are experiencing, to help express feeling and make meaning through creative ways. I understand this may take time and there is no time limit on supporting you.
