Relationship distress is common and most people who find they are having relationship issues are struggling to understand how to fix things.
People who need a couples therapist have normally experienced the toxic cycle of arguing and/or withdrawing from the relationship. Common relationship issues include emotional disconnection, Infidelity recovery, intimacy issues which results in communication breakdown. The goal of Relationship Counseling is to be given some tools on how to repair the damage so you can become united again.
I am a qualified Emotionally Focused Therapist that help hundreds of people re-unite and stay connected once they have learned how to.
In relationships we get hijacked by our emotions and need a third person who is unbiased, has a clear roadmap forward and is able to direct us out of this negative cycle that we cannot break on our own.
Having wanting to be a Couples Therapist for over 20 years I eventually did my post grad at aged 50 when all my children were grown. I now love what I do and feel truly honored to have helped hundreds of couples repair their relationships. I continue to research and study to offer the best possible support to my clients.
