Therapy aims to better understand what's going on in a young person or adult's life that has led to their symptoms. This is done through holding curiosity and exploring early life experiences and family of origin, a person's current context, and identifying current strengths and resources. Together we then build a tool kit of strategies and resources needed to support their care and wellbeing. Therapy takes courage and may at times feel a little uncomfortable so I aim to there, walking alongside the individuals or families I work with.
My work is informed by modalities that aim to promote, sustain and enhance wellbeing in individuals and families. I work from a systemic and relational frame to understand an individual’s relationships within their context. I provide a safe place to support self-awareness, self-compassion and to externalise the different parts seeking better functioning.
Please feel to reach out to me with any enquiries regarding sessions. Thank you.
