Dr Genevieve Le Bas is a clinical psychologist who offers talk therapy, from a psychodynamic framework. She believes that therapy offers an opportunity to understand one's own internal world, in turn enhancing relationships and day-to-day functioning. Genevieve specialises in working with young adults and adults for individual therapy.
A strong emphasis is placed on providing clients a safe space to express and process vulnerable feelings. Genevieve works with clients to explore the meaning underlying symptoms, rather than focusing on symptom-reduction strategies per se. This might involve bringing to light current or past hurts, to work through their emotional impact.
