I like to work with men and women who are willing to be curious about who they are. My clients come to me because they have problems expressing feelings, such as anger that they can't control and it is damaging their relationships, or a depressed feeling that has taken over their life, and they are afraid. Some others may be struggling with romantic or work relationships. To live and work with other people is one of the hardest things we do and yet we have to, and some of us need support to manage the emotional roller coaster! Self -regulation is a skill that takes practice and is something I can help you with.
I have worked with adults in private practice over the last 30+ years, both in Australia, and in the United States, more recently in New York. I use the skills that I have learned over those 30 years to work with each person in a unique way to build a relationship which is aimed to help you suffer less.
If you are interested in a longer form of therapy in which we work together to develop both a greater understanding of how you came to be you, as well learn skills to enable you to have greater freedom of choice to meet your life as it is.
