Arishna is a warm and empathic Psychologist with over 15 years experience treating a broad range of issues and clinical presentations including, anxiety, depression, PTSD, complex trauma, grief and loss, transition and adjustment issues, self-esteem and confidence issues, anger management, and addictions. Arishna has a special interest in treating mood disorders particularly in the context of Borderline Personality Disorder and Complex PTSD.
Arishna has also worked at various hospitals, including St John of God, where she co-ordinated the DBT Programs. Here she worked in a multidisciplinary team providing assessments, alongside individual and group therapy, in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
Arishna holds empathy, compassion and transparency as core values in her practice, and brings with her a nurturing attitude promoting insight and growth, by providing a non-judgemental and supportive space for individuals to better understand and manage their experiences. She utilises a range of therapeutic modalities to best suit an individual’s needs.
