A Family Therapist is trained to work with an entire family group. I help people have stronger relationships, learn to communicate well, break unhelpful patterns of behaviour and learn new parenting skills. The work is fast paced, direct and people tell me they feel safe in the room with me.

If you are feeling exhausted, isolated and stressed because of what is going on in your family it's time to reach out for help. I believe that parents should feel supported, respected and safe when they come and see me - not blamed. By the time I see family members they have already gone through far too much. Many wish they hadn't left it so late.

AD/HD Parenting Support Group

This group is aimed at parents who have a tween/teen who has been diagnosed with AD/HD or ASD level one. The aim of the group is to provide support to parents who might otherwise feel socially isolated amongst other parents. The group is lead by Jacqueline McDiarmid who is a Family Therapist and has extensive knowledge working with AD/HD in family work. Parenting skills are also taught to support parents. This is a safe environment where parents can explore a range of thoughts and feelings with other parents who are going through similar experiences.
