I work from an understanding that many of life's concerns stem from our past experiences in relationships and the structural difficulties that are present in our society. This organizes the way I understand peoples experience and distress and how I seek to understand how we are in relationship, and what fixed patterns get in the way of living a more meaningful and enriching life. I work with warmth and curiosity to help develop a deeper understanding of your area of concern and better make sense of why particular patterns might be causing distress.
I have worked in a broad range of area's including trauma, youth mental health, general counseling / therapy, parenting assessments, addiction and cancer care / health. I believe that many of life's concerns are rarely easily categorized or defined and often can be understood in a multitude of different ways.
