Bringing over a decade of diverse counselling experience to the table, I specialize in addressing a wide range of concerns, with a particular focus on family work, couples therapyI and trauma. My therapeutic toolbox includes evidence-based approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Family Systems Therapy. My career has taken me on a diverse adventure, that has allowed me to work in areas including: social services, crises, couples and family work. In recent years, I've worked in EAP for high stress and high isolation industries such as: mining, Maritime and Red Meat. I bring a strong understanding of family systems and high stress impacts.
I strive to build a collaborative non-judgmental practice with a focus on empowerment and support. My style of counselling is warm and supportive with a focus on building a deep understanding of yourself, your emotions and your world in a way that is practical and useful.
