As an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker, I offer one-on-one support around a variety of challenges, including depression, anxiety, self-esteem and self-confidence issues, major life transitions, grief and loss and parenting difficulties. I am a strong LGBTIQ+ ally, and I have extensive experience in working in schools, with culturally and linguistically diverse clients and supporting those facing family violence. I work with clients aged 14 and up.
I utilise a variety of focussed psychological strategies, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and general problem solving, relaxation strategies and stress management. I work from a strengths-based approach to help you make positive change for yourself.
Seeking help outside of moments of crisis is the perfect time to clarify and understand what's going on for you, and to plan for how and when to take action to work through difficult emotions , experiences and relationships. Contact me for a brief conversation to see if we're a good fit on supporting you through your challenges.
