I am an experienced counsellor and social worker with a focus on relationship counselling. I work with individuals, couples and families to build upon their strengths and empower them to improve their emotional wellbeing to develop fulfilling and meaningful lives. Everyone’s story is different, and I value building trust and working alongside clients in a way that feels respectful and real. I love supporting couples to strengthen their friendship, rebuild trust and share their life goals and dreams.
I work using a collaborative and strengths-based counselling approach utilising a combination of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Solution Focussed Brief Intervention, Interpersonal Counselling and Grief and Loss work within a trauma informed approach. I use the Gottman Method Couple Therapy in my work with couples.
I aim to create a space where people feel genuinely heard, supported, and safe to be themselves. I bring warmth, honesty, and a down-to-earth approach to my work, and I believe strongly in meeting people where they are at. I see counselling as a collaborative process and feel privileged to walk alongside people as they navigate lifes challenges.
