Emma is an experienced Clinical Psychologist and accredited EMDR practitioner. She has developed a particular interest in supporting adults with late-diagnosed ADHD and/or autism, as well as those interested in exploring their neurotype. Emma offers both therapy and assessment for autism and ADHD, and has specific knowledge in high masking/internalising presentations of these conditions. Additionally, Emma enjoys working with parents of neurodivergent children, providing them with support and strategies to build their coping mechanisms, and assisting them in exploring their own neurotype.
Emma is able to address issues relating to PTSD/trauma, anxiety disorders such as social anxiety disorder, phobias, and panic disorder. Additionally, she supports those experiencing depression, low self-esteem, sleep difficulties, and adjustment challenges.
Emma adopts a neuro-affirming, warm, caring and non-judgemental approach when working with her clients to help them to feel comfortable and safe when discussing their personal issues. Emma strives to assist her clients to reach their full potential and goals, using a range of therapeutic techniques in her sessions.
