Hi, I'm Emine, Emi in short. I'm a psychologist with a special interest in adolescent/youth mental health, as well as autism, ADHD, AuDHD. I hold a Master's Degree in Youth Mental Health and work with preteens, adolescents, and young adults who may be experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, OCD, disordered eating, bipolar, early psychosis, trauma/PTSD, self-esteem, adjustment and relationship difficulties. I also work in collaboration with parents to best support their teen. I have current availability for appointments via telehealth Australia wide, and face-to-face consultations at our boutique practice located in Fairfield QLD.
I utilise a range of evidence-based modalities: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Schema Therapy, EMDR, Motivational Interviewing, Narrative Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy. I offer assessments for Autism, ADHD, cognitive abilities, NDIS, and adaptive behaviour.
I understand the importance of early intervention and the positive impact it has on a child and young persons development. I work with preteens, adolescents, and adults. I am passionate about developing a strong therapeutic relationship with my clients. I adopt a warm, curious, and collaborative approach, while utilising evidence based frameworks.
