Emily specialises in supporting children and adolescents who are neurodiverse, as well as women who have experienced trauma. She is a registered counsellor, clinical art therapist, and is trained in child-centred play therapy and trauma informed yoga. She has worked in clinical mental health settings for 5 years and is especially interested in addressing anxiety, stress, and nervous system challenges. Emily's supports her clients to develop a deeper understanding of themselves using a holistic approach, combining creative, expressive, and somatic practices with traditional talk therapy.
Emily is trained in counselling, humanistic art therapy, and trauma-sensitive yoga. She utilises talk therapy approaches like CBT, DBT, and ACT in combination with polyvagal theory, parts work, and somatic practices. She believes the path to wellbeing is not linear or solitary, but a process of connection, curiosity and compassionate exploration.
