I work with people who are seeking a deeper understanding of themselves. Together we explore "what hurts", what you desire and long for and how you relate to yourself and the world. Psychodynamic therapy respects the complexity of humans and looks to provide not only relief from symptoms, but the opportunity for a richer life.
Hello, I'm Eloise. I am a psychologist working with older adolescents (16+) and adults in Brisbane, Queensland. I intend to provide a collaborative and compassionate approach to therapy through rich curiosity, exploration and a sense of "slowing down" so that you may feel more aware of and connected to yourself.
My therapeutic practice draws primarily from a psychodynamic framework. I work with my clients to explore thoughts, emotions, behaviours, and relationships (past and present), in a search for the meaning behind current or ongoing concerns. Symptoms are often alleviated through therapy as individuals gain a deeper emotional understanding of themselves.
