As your clinical psychologist, I want to understand your situation, so I start by listening to you with a curious, open mind and without judgement. I help you explore your feelings and behaviours through reflection, to uncover the beliefs that sit behind them. From this foundation of understanding, we work collaboratively to find practical strategies to manage your thoughts, behaviours and feelings. So whether you need long-term support or an occasional visit, you can move forward with more ease, confidence and optimism.
I treat a wide range of clinical and non-clinical mental health issues, but my special area of interest is anxiety-related conditions, such as generalised anxiety, chronic worry, health anxiety, stress, OCD, social anxiety. I also have an interest in neurodiversity in adults, including ADHD and Autism.
My approach is collaborative and client centred. I’m naturally a fairly relaxed person, which helps my clients feel relaxed too. I use a range of evidence-based therapies including CBT, ACT and Schema Therapy. I involve you in all decisions related to your treatment goals, so your therapy is tailored to your preferences, personality and strengths.
