I provide individual treatment to adults via video for a range of concerns. I work with concerns around mood and anger, anxiousness, coping, trauma, intrusive or unpleasant thoughts and acting on these, personality and identity concerns, and relationship concerns, among other areas. I also work with people navigating big changes in life (e.g., parenthood, retirement, loss). While I work with everyone, I have particular interest and experience working in men's health.
I am qualified and trained to diagnose and treat a range of mental health concerns, the therapeutic relationship is crucial in maximising the opportunities for change. It's important to me that you get along with your clinician, so get in touch and we can see if we'd be a good fit.
For some, therapy via video seems uncomfortable. There's growing evidence that it can be as effective as therapy in person, particularly if it's treated like an 'appointment' and there is good communication between client and therapist. Increasing the accessibility and easiness of engaging in psychology is a goal of mine.
