Elissa is a warm and empathic therapist, allowing clients to feel seen, heard and accepted. Elissa is passionate about seeing people embrace who they are and to live a life that is nourishing to their soul. Elissa has over 17 years experience working with children, young people, adults and families, both within Australia and overseas, particularly in regards to those who have experienced complex trauma. Elissa works with both adolescents and adults, online, and uses Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) to treat PTSD, trauma, stress, grief, anxiety, and depression.

Elissa operates from a holistic, strengths-based perspective, with her psychotherapeutic approach incorporating knowledge from various human development theories and therapeutic interventions, with a particular interest and passion for Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR). Services are offered online.
