As a collaborative, integrative and highly experienced therapist, I delve deeply into understanding the origins of problems to offer compassionate support, direction, and practical feedback, empowering individuals on their journey towards healing and personal growth. With over 35 years of diverse experience in community mental health, hospitals, Headspace, and private practice, I specialize in guiding individuals through their emotional challenges. I work with clients of all ages and backgrounds, addressing all sorts of emotional challenges such as anxiety, grief, depression, trauma, low self-esteem, and various life transitions.
My therapeutic approach integrates contemporary psychodynamic therapies, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), systemic approaches, and other advanced techniques. Sessions are available at my home psychotherapy clinic in St Ives or through Telehealth, tailored to ensure flexibility and effectiveness for every client.
My goal is to assist clients in overcoming emotional roadblocks, from minor conflicts to multidimensional or profound existential concerns, using advanced psychological techniques to alleviate distress and foster sustainable well-being. Together, we explore concerns and aspirations, fostering new insights and healthier relationships with oneself and others.
