This is a Psychologist-led Tele-Therapy Group for Anxiety using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), under Medicare for people living in Australian towns, small, medium and remote communities, within the Modified Monash Model (MMM) zones 4-7 (from 31 Oct 2025). Group Therapy can be an effective way to manage anxiety. These groups will aim to create a safe space for 6-10 participants to share experiences, learn coping strategies, and practice relaxation techniques together. Each session is designed to include room to better understand anxiety, learn new skills, practice through supported discussions and reinforce learning through homework activities.
