I am a Registered Psychologist with AHPRA. My therapeutic practice draws on a range of evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Interpersonal Therapy, Solution Focused, Compassion Focused and Clinical EFT Tapping. Talk therapy alone is often not enough, focusing on somatic processing I believe is an essential part to processing emotions. As emotions are felt in the body too. My aim in sessions is to build a respectful and trusting therapeutic relationship with my clients. This helps to make you feel safe, heard and understood.
My areas of interest include: pregnancy, anxiety and OCD, PTSD, co-regulation, parenting support, life transitions, stress management, self-esteem, pregnancy related counselling support. Clinical EFT- is a sort after skillset. I am trained and certified in this modality through EFT International. This is a stress-reduction & regulation tool.
