I'm a firm believer that everyone could benefit from seeing a psychologist. We may not think twice about seeing GPs, physios, optometrists etc, all of which are important. But so is our psychological and emotional health. Whether you are facing a mental illness, going through a tough season of life, or wanting to learn how to optimise your relationships, please reach out. It is a privilege to be invited into your personal world so that you can be truly heard and seen. Therapy can help you gain insight and make changes that perhaps have been too hard to face until now. All of this will be at your own pace and questions are welcome.
I have been a clinical psychologist for 20 years, and director of a large private practice for over 10 years. I always aim to be down-to-earth, genuine, respectful, and attuned. I offer therapy to adults most often for depression, anxiety, trauma or relationship difficulties. I am trained in CBT, acceptance and commitment therapy, schema therapy and EMDR.
It is important to me to provide a professional yet warm practice, from the psychologists to the administrative staff to the atmosphere and furnishings. We welcome any enquiries; there is no such thing as a silly question and we'd be pleased to be of assistance to you. You don't need a referral but it can be helpful to speak to your GP about therapy options
