I believe therapy works best when we feel safe to sit with challenging thoughts and emotions, to be curious about their roots, and to develop compassion for ourselves. Our work together will go at your pace, prioritising your security. I will ask gentle questions to encourage deeper inquiry, and reflect your experiences back to you for examination. I may also invite you to connect with your body during our sessions, to see if our discussion resonates with deeper memories. And I will check-in across sessions, to verify that our exploration aligns with your intentions for seeking therapy, ensuring that your needs are being met.
I’m a psychotherapist with a social work background (MSW, 2012). I support those experiencing trauma, loss, depression, anxiety, and addiction, and my focus is on shame. I completed Professional training in Dr Gabor Maté’s Compassionate Inquiry, and my work incorporates aspects of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and mindfulness.
In addition to my therapy work, I have a 15-year career in management consulting, tech, and start-ups, and an MBA from Wharton. I am familiar with the pressures of the corporate world, and the experiences of impostor syndrome, workaholism, and burnout.
