I have experience in working with a wide range of individuals and various relationship dynamics after more than 16 years working across various specialised services. I work from a trauma-informed, person centred approach. I believe in working holistically with people to create meaningful change. I have worked as both a counsellor and peer worker previously and have lived experience in ethical non-monogamy and kink spaces, all relationship dynamics, men's counselling, veterans, Pre and post Bariatric surgery, body and sex positive, grief and loss, complex mental health, childhood sexual abuse, carers and workplace injuries
I work in a very relaxed, relational way. This means my focus is making the room and interaction as comfortable and relaxed as possible to encourage free flowing discussion. Whilst I do have the book smarts, I often find it's the lived experience people connect most to. Feel free to reach out and ask me any questions you may have
I believe that the connection between clients and therapists is one of the most important factors. Therefore I offer a free 40 to 60 minute first session to complete paperwork and get to know each other and see how the joint dynamic works and if we are the right fit.
