My approach is holistic, person-centred and collaborative. I am a fully qualified and registered social worker and have an Advanced Diploma in Transpersonal Art Therapy.
I strive to create a partnership with my client based on trust, empathy, and respect. Depending on my client's needs and goals, I use many approaches (including expressive art modalities) in an integrated way to support my clients explore themselves, their relationships and heal from past losses and difficult experiences.
I have a special interest in helping people with trauma, as well as grief and loss.
I provide one-on-one and group sessions in a safe and welcoming space; offering a personalised and compassionate approach to support client well-being. This includes working through issues such as grief and loss, anxiety, depression, past trauma; as well as general life transitions and challenges (personal, family, and professional).
Through my training, professional and personal experience, I believe that a creative expressive approach is therapeutic for all of us. I offer traditional talk-therapy combined with expressive arts practices to explore clients' challenges as well as their strengths/capacity to grow and heal.
