Hello! I'm Tina and I am a counsellor with extensive experience working with individuals and couples from adolescents to seniors. In the sessions, I value a stance of being present and accepting while working in collaboration with clients, attentive to their process and their goals. My sessions allow clients to feel safe, heard and if they wish to walk away with more skills and insights. I specialise in the following issues: anxiety and stress, depression, grief, parenting, relationship and family challenges, communication and workplace issues, life transitions, family of origin issues, understanding of self.
I draw from various evidence-based models to inform my work: A person and strength based centred model, Transactional Analysis Model, Family and Relationship Therapy, Narrative Therapy, ACT, Neuroscience, CBT and Positive Psychology
