At The Couch Clinic, we work with clients who may be feeling overwhelmed, anxious, stuck, or unsure how to move forward. They may be navigating anxiety, depression, stress, trauma-related experiences, relationship difficulties, burnout, grief, or major life transitions. We offer in-person, telehealth, and in-home sessions. Clients often seek relief, clarity, and practical coping strategies. We support them in making sense of their experiences, building emotional insight, and developing effective, workable tools for change.
We offer compassionate, evidence-based counselling for adults. We draw on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), trauma-informed care, and integrative approaches. We also have a special interest in OCD, Bipolar Disorder and other psychotic disorders, trauma, and physical disability, tailoring therapy to each client.
We understand that seeking support can feel like a big step, and you don’t need to have everything figured out before reaching out. We aim to provide a space that feels safe, grounded, and genuinely human, and we meet each person with warmth, respect, and care as they move toward greater clarity and steadiness.
