I enjoy helping people understand their relationships better - with family, friends, partners, and themselves. Supporting people to understand their own needs, feelings, motivations and patterns around them can help them to manage situations more effectively, and feel more at ease with their lives in a new way. Often, this kind of work can be a long term journey, but it doesn't have to be - sometimes just a few sessions is enough to make a valuable shift in a way that wasn't possible before.
I have over 20 years of experience in many different areas of counselling and psychotherapy. My qualifications have included clinical, counselling and health persepectives, so I have a broad range of approaches to draw from. I have unique knowledge of sexuality and gender issues, and have a lot of experience working with LGBTQ+ and kink/CNM communities.
When we meet, my first step is to get to know you and build a plan together about how I might be helpful to you. I prefer not to label, and I don't judge - our work is about what's going to work for you, not about me being an expert in everything. I'm happy to learn, and to take feedback. Feel free to reach out and we can talk about how I might help.
